Service Managers train, coach, and support a team of Route Service Representatives in order to meet and exceed customer retention, account growth, and gross profit goals by driving execution of route development, coverage, and customer satisfaction. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach, train, and develop the Service Team to ensure adoption of best practices, including Service Absolutes and Customer Inventory Management, while supporting customer retention, growth initiatives, and overall team performance. Manage all aspects of employee performance and staffing, including hiring, onboarding, accountability, development, and maintaining Service Manpower Model requirements. Allocate service resources effectively across routes, route support, and new account installations to ensure operational efficiency and world-class service delivery. Foster a safe, positive, and high-performing work environment while providing hands-on operational and field support to Service Representatives and customers as needed. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through goodwill activities, partnership with additional Wildman employees, effective issue resolution, and a commitment to high customer satisfaction. Support sales growth and account retention by developing team effectiveness in customer service, relationship management, and sales support techniques. Achieve established sales, profit, inventory, payroll, and operational goals through effective budget management and resolution of operational challenges impacting service delivery. Safely operate company-owned vehicles and assist with the delivery, movement, and handling of products and services while maintaining professionalism and exceptional customer service standards. Perform additional leadership, managerial, and operational duties as assigned. Requirements Requires high school diploma or equivalent Requires a valid driver's license with a For-hire endorsement Must pass a DOT physical prior to employment Must pass drug/alcohol screening Is generally guided by established policy and procedures but receives daily/weekly guidance from superior for all projects, customer service issues and miscellaneous items Attention to detail is a must as errors may involve loss of customers Requires ability to use handheld pc, keyboard, monitor, phone, calculator, printer, and copier Requires ability to communicate verbally with others Ability to handle multiple projects at once and maintain organization Physical Requirements:
Requires maximum physical effort Required to sit for extended periods, Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk Must be able to drive a truck/step van Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs Ability to read, enter and use efficiently a handheld computer Ability to use telephone to communicate with customers and internal support personnel Environmental Requirements:
