Yes Your Job Trinity Sales and Rental is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead the service team, oversee daily shop operations, manage preventative maintenance and inspection programs, mentor technicians, and ensure all repairs meet Annual Inspection standards and Trinity quality expectations. This is a working foreman role — hands-on diagnostics and repairs are performed as needed to support the team and keep the fleet ready. What You Will Do
  • Oversee service, repair, and inspection of fleet and customer-owned equipment, including advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on hydraulics, transmissions, and engines; perform hands-on work as needed
  • Oversee preventative maintenance, Annual Inspections, and 90-day inspections; recommend process or equipment improvements
  • Delegate, oversee, and mentor technicians, providing guidance, training, and support in the shop and field
  • Oversee Yard Attendants in equipment pre-checks, loading and unloading, and preparing equipment for rentals
  • Collaborate with the Service Supervisor and management to plan, prioritize, and execute large repair projects
  • Oversee accurate service records, work orders, and documentation in software systems
  • Ensure shop and yard organization, cleanliness, safe operation, and quality assurance of completed work; promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
  • Perform quality control checks on completed repairs and equipment prior to release to ensure all work meets Trinity standards
  • Demonstrate proper equipment operation and safety procedures to staff and customers
  • Complete all required training programs, including Genie Level 2 within 90 days of hire
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the growth of the division.
  • On-call rotation required
  • Work in the field on call-outs, 90-day inspections, and Annual Inspections as needed
  • Work weekends as needed Who You Are (Qualifications)
  • Proven leadership as a Foreman with ability to set the pace, delegate, and build a strong team
  • 5+ years of industry experience with advanced knowledge of heavy equipment, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
  • Hands-on mentor with ability to train and develop junior technicians while maintaining shop efficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with customers and across all departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and all forms of technology used in the role.
  • Highly organized with proven decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of Annual Inspection standards; able to enforce safety and quality assurance practices
  • Passion for equipment with mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn and grow
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record; must complete required equipment training (e.g., Genie Factory)
  • Must meet the minimum requirements of a Level II technician.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and seldom lifting up to 75 lbs. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
