QUALIFICATIONS
Has a high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate Is a current staff member of Boone County Schools Has demonstrated the ability to communicate and work effectively with students, parents/families, and colleagues
REPORTS TO
Principal
JOB GOAL
Assist the principal to engage parents/families in the education process by providing them with opportunities to actively participate in the planning, implementation, and review of the school's Parent/Family Engagement Program as required by Federal regulation of Title I schools
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Attend monthly Title I meetings with the district's Title I Coordinator Participate in District led trainings related to the Title I evidence collection process required for Title I Parent/Family Engagement (PFE) 3. At direction of, and in collaboration with, building
Principal:
a. Conduct Title I Annual Meeting according to Federal requirements b. Coordinate, promote, supervise, and evaluate the Title I PFE Program according to Federal requirements c. Fulfill requirements related to implementation of Title I PFE policy including distribution of policy, collection of policy feedback, revisions based on feedback, and redistribution of final school PFE policy d. Fulfill requirements related to implementation of Title I PFE School Compact including distribution of school compact, collection of school compact feedback, revisions based on feedback, and redistribution of final PFE school compact e. Collect and submit all required parent/family engagement evidence to the district TitleI Coordinator 4. Perform other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the supervisor
