Description Position:
Manager, Line Maintenance-CVG Required Education:
Airframe & Powerplant License Required Experience:
5 years What you will do: Responsible for safety, compliance, and profitability for a 24-hour 7 day a week Line Maintenance operation in CVG. Provides planning, administrative, budgetary, and direct supervisory control and direction to line maintenance personnel. Performs and recommends management actions related to hiring, scheduling, training, discipline, employee development, coaching, mentoring and termination. This position reports to the Director, Line Maintenance.
What you need:
High School Diploma OR GED Required Airframe and Powerplant License 5 years of experience as a supervisor or lead in a transport category aircraft line maintenance environment 7 years heavy and/or line aircraft maintenance experience Knowledge & skills with Microsoft Office programs to produce spreadsheets, manipulate data bases, and operate email and other web-based applications Demonstrated knowledge of planning and exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and facilitate discussions with all levels of employees, management, vendors & a variety of customers Proven ability to exercise technical problem-solving skills and quickly develop contingency plans Must be highly self-motivated, and able to work independently with little or no direction Be willing and able to work any shift to include weekends as needed Working knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to CFR 145 repair station operations Thorough knowledge of regulations and company policies governing employee, equipment, facility and operational safety
Physical Requirements:
Work at heights up to 60 ft Wear PPE as required Ability to stoop, bend crawl as required Climb stairs and ladders Work outside in all forms of inclement weather Occasional lifting of various weights
Preferred Skills:
