Maintenance Director We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Director / Environmental Services Director to oversee building operations, preventative maintenance, safety, and environmental services for our senior living community. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of the building, lead by example, solve problems quickly, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. What You'll Own Oversee all community maintenance operations including: Resident apartments Common areas Grounds and exterior upkeep Equipment and mechanical systems Perform and manage preventative maintenance programs Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs involving: HVAC systems Plumbing Electrical General building maintenance Ensure compliance with safety standards and state regulations Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Assist with apartment turns and move-in readiness Drive the community van when needed Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner Support resident satisfaction by maintaining a safe and comfortable environment What We're Looking For Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required Strong knowledge of: HVAC Plumbing Electrical systems General building maintenance Senior living, healthcare, hotel, or multi-unit housing experience preferred Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license required Compensation & Schedule $60,000-$65,000/year Full-time position with stable scheduling On-call availability may be required for urgent maintenance needs Benefits & Perks Get paid early with ZayZoon Free medical insurance option Medical, dental, vision coverage PTO + holiday pay Perfect attendance bonus (up to $100/month) Referral bonuses Career growth opportunities Stable leadership and supportive work environment Why Charter Senior Living Our mission: To Enhance the Human Spirit —for residents and employees alike.
