and ensure the facility remains safe, clean, functional, and well maintained. This is a hands-on role for someone who is a team player, but who can also work independently, solve problems, and keep things running without skipping a beat. The role will also involve operating a forklift to assist in moving, loading, and unloading building materials as needed, when not performing maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine building, mechanical, vehicle, and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure production and packaging equipment is calibrated, lubricated, and fully operational to meet output demands.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
  • Pick orders, load and unload trucks and retail customer vehicles as needed
  • Supervise and coordinate facility upkeep and repair schedules
  • Travel between branches if needed to maintain equipment
  • Perform general handyman tasks
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Work closely with management to prioritize and complete projects
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in building maintenance, facility repair, and equipment maintenance
  • Proficiency with hand & power tools, maintenance equipment, and basic repairs
  • Forklift certification and experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with other team members and retail customers
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven forklift experience is distribution or warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of and experience handling building material products
  • Welding and fabrication skills
  • Body work and spray-painting skills
  • Packaging equipment maintenance & repair experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend or evening work as needed
Pay:
$20.00
