The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. As an Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and drive service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage the service department's daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Oversee service writing and customer interactions to deliver exceptional customer service. Utilize auto estimating and automotive diagnostics to accurately assess vehicle issues. Train and mentor staff on best practices in vehicle maintenance, including brake repair and shocks struts services. Implement upselling strategies to enhance service offerings and improve customer satisfaction. Maintain relationships with customers, addressing concerns and ensuring their needs are met. Collaborate with the dealership team to ensure alignment on service goals and objectives. Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies necessary for vehicle maintenance. Experience Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role within a dealership environment. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes. Experience with service writing and customer service best practices is essential. Familiarity with upselling techniques in an automotive context is preferred. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff alike.
