In person Job Summary A large, well-established Real Estate Development and Property Management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent for residential apartment communities in the Greater Boston/Middlesex County area. The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for the daily care, maintenance, safety, and overall upkeep of the property. This is a hands-on role that requires strong residential maintenance experience, excellent follow-through, and the ability to respond to resident and property needs in a timely and professional manner. Candidates considered at the higher end of the pay range should have strong hands-on experience with residential building maintenance, apartment turnovers, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, and emergency/on-call response. A comprehensive compensation package will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct daily building and property walks Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner Perform apartment and common area repairs Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready work Handle general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, appliance, HVAC, and boiler-related maintenance Maintain building interiors, exteriors, common areas, and grounds Identify safety concerns and report larger repair needs to management Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and property management as needed Participate in snow removal and weather-related property needs Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas Provide excellent resident service Complete additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications Strong hands-on residential building maintenance experience required Prior superintendent, maintenance supervisor, or apartment maintenance experience preferred Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boiler systems, drywall, painting, flooring, and appliance repairs preferred Ability to complete apartment turnovers and general make-ready work Must be reliable, punctual, and able to respond to emergencies Must have own tools and reliable transportation Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as scheduled Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Benefits Comprehensive compensation package discussed during interview Weekly on-call overtime Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off 401(k) eligibility after one year
