We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Machine Maintenance and Facilities Manager to join our team. Lead and actively participate in hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of CNC, screw machines, manual equipment, assembly systems, and facility infrastructure. Provide technical leadership in electrical systems, including motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control panels. Plan, schedule, and manage the preventive maintenance program and CMMS/work order system. Diagnose recurring equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Oversee building and utility systems including HVAC, boilers, compressed air, wastewater treatment, and electrical distribution. Direct and train maintenance and facilities personnel; communicate priorities and expectations. Coordinate contractors, vendors, and capital or automation-related upgrades. Enforce safety, environmental, and security regulations; provide on-call support as required. Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives; act as backup for wastewater treatment operations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience. 8-10 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibility. Strong mechanical and electrical background with working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and controls. Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings. Experience with CMMS systems; JDE experience a plus. Knowledge of TPM and continuous improvement practices preferred. Wastewater Treatment Certification preferred. Strong communication skills, high integrity, and ability to work evenings/weekends when needed.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including loud noise, high temperatures, and confined spaces. Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and climb for extended periods.
