Job Description

About the Role Anderson Auto Service is looking for an experienced Service Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations in our busy automotive shop. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on workflow management, technician support, quality control, and customer experience. We're looking for someone who can keep the shop moving, communicate clearly with both customers and staff, and take ownership of the service department's overall performance. Responsibilities Lead and support technicians and service staff throughout daily operations Help manage shop workflow, scheduling, and repair turnaround times Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to quality standards Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting when needed Oversee shop organization, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance Maintain accurate repair orders, service records, and inventory tracking Communicate with customers regarding repair status, recommendations, and timelines Work closely with parts and management teams to improve overall shop efficiency Train and mentor team members on shop procedures, safety practices, and service standards Qualifications Previous experience in automotive service management, shop supervision, or a lead technician role Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and diagnostics Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical systems preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required What We Offer Full-time, steady work Fast-paced, established shop environment Supportive team culture Opportunity for growth and long-term advancement Competitive pay based on experience If you take pride in running an organized, efficient shop and leading a strong team, we'd like to hear from you.
