Automotive Service Manager

Nucar Volkswagen of Norwood is looking for an experienced Service Manager, with a proven track record. Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for cars and customer satisfaction? We're looking for an Automotive Service Manager to join our team and drive success in a fast-paced, high-performing service department. What You'll Do:

Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all service department staff Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department Monitor and control the performance of the department Facilitate and/or conduct technical training and sends employees to appropriate training schools as needed Established and maintain positive working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks Know and understand federal, state and local laws and regulations that affect dealership-related operations.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Advisor in an automotive service environment Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Working knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced setting Proficiency in service management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion or similar a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

ASE certification or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record Minimum 5 years automotive service-related experience 1-3 years Dealership supervisory/managerial

$130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
