Full Job Description Head Maintenance Grounds Person Responsibilities:

To oversee Maintenance Craftsmen and Labor & Motor Equipment Operators and any summer help. To oversee lining of all fields, baseball, football, etc. Keep all equipment including snow blowers, lawn mowers, tractors, etc. in good working order. Keep all school vehicles clean, both interior and exterior and update maintenance logs (oil changes, tire replacement, etc.) as required. To operate various types of equipment, truck, tractors, and other motor vehicles of three tons or less; to transport labor gangs, to haul supplies, refuse, load and unload trucks, to grease, oil and keep equipment clean and in good running order; make minor repairs, to assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or others as assigned, to assist truck men in the delivery of school supplies; to maintain grounds, playing fields and tennis courts; set up and remove bleachers and platforms; to paint fences, buildings, and any other properties under the control of the department; to remove snow and ice; to sand and to remove same and other refuse from school areas and roads.

Requirements:
