About the Role As a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for the reliability and optimization of advanced manufacturing systems. You will leverage your expertise in electrical troubleshooting and PLC diagnostics to minimize downtime and enhance overall production efficiency. Responsibilities Execute complex preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery to ensure peak operational performance. Diagnose and resolve intricate electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using schematics and technical blueprints. Collaborate with engineering teams to debug equipment, modify processes, and improve system throughput. Manage the procurement of essential maintenance components and oversee relationships with external service contractors. Utilize CMMS platforms to document maintenance activities, track equipment performance, and maintain accurate service records. Fabricate or adapt mechanical fixtures to support evolving production requirements and quality standards. Provide technical mentorship to team members regarding equipment setup, repair best practices, and safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or Vocational Tech certification. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance or technical role. Proven proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics. Physical capability to perform repairs in various positions, including lifting up to 25lbs. Preferred Skills Associate's Degree in an engineering or technical field. Experience with CAD software for equipment design or modification. Demonstrated ability in technical writing and documentation. Advanced aptitude for mechanical system integration and process optimization.
