Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of four years of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Journeyman-level maintenance experience preferred Strong background in mechanical, electrical, millwright, equipment installation, welding, and fabrication work Proven leadership, training, mentoring, and team development skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical data, and maintenance documentation Strong communication skills with the ability to delegate work and coordinate resources effectively Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Experience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures, noise, machinery, and physical demands Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly

Job Duties:
Supervise daily maintenance activities and provide shop floor leadership to the maintenance team Assist the Maintenance Manager with scheduling, planning, and assigning maintenance work throughout the facility Train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel to support performance and skill growth Monitor workforce effectiveness, productivity, and adherence to safety and quality standards Coordinate equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and parts procurement with the Maintenance Supervisor Maintain accurate records including work orders, PM schedules, prints, material requisitions, and parts inventories Work with outside vendors and contractors on maintenance projects and equipment repairs Perform hands-on maintenance work when needed to support operational requirements Ensure compliance with company policies, PPE requirements, and environmental, health, and safety procedures Support continuous plant operations by being available for all shifts and on-call situations as needed "They communicate and helped me understand what I was going to be doing at the job and what was expected of me."
