Job Description:
Support Scientific Test Facilities Maintenance department team, including skilled tradesmen and supervision by providing comprehensive work packages for the implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance work on the Product Development assets throughout CTC. The Planner works with the scheduling team to collaborate and build cost-effective and innovative workflow improvements for the department. The planner works closely with the Product Development Team to resolve issues related to Maintenance as well as communicating priorities to department management.
Major duties include:
Develop corrective maintenance work packages to repair test equipment. Provide input and collaborate with skilled trades. Review and respond to skilled trade work issues related to package builds. Assist with ordering material and equipment required to implement maintenance work. Work with scheduler to project skilled trades manpower and workload. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance or Manufacturing Basic knowledge of preventive and proactive maintenance concepts. Experience with problem solving tools Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google software suites (including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Meet) Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership skills Available and willing to travel and work overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree Experience in automotive and/or manufacturing facilities design Field experience on building construction projects Proficiency in using AutoCAD or Revit
