Ishpeming, MI Cleveland-Cliff has an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Planner at our Tilden site. This role is responsible for contributing to the maintenance team by overseeing and coordinating all aspects of mechanical maintenance planning and/or supervising in the indurating area of the Tilden pellet plant. Our ideal candidate will be accountable for safe work and operating practices, hard-working, self-driven, goal oriented and resilient.
Summary of Responsibilities :
Ensures that all department work is performed in a safe manner and that all work areas are maintained to meet all MSHA standards. Generates a work plan including daily and weekly schedules. Provides input into budgeting. Ensures that the weekly maintenance plan is communicated and planned per MPS standards. Responsible for the quality execution of work and reports and recommends solutions to deviations from the plan. Develops work package for various levels of outages. Performs inspections to ensure equipment health is maintained. Orders all necessary parts and materials to complete the work plan. Ensures that all necessary parts are pre-positioned and or delivered to the job site prior to commencement of the job. Works with the supervisor to ensure that all work orders are closed when completed.

Updates equipment history, equipment component tracking, APLs in a timely manner Communicates feedback requirements for each repair. Works with the supervisors, craft work/technicians, and reliability engineers to ensure the equipment improvement activities are occurring. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required. Supervisory experience or previous experience in a similar role. Ability to read and comprehend Gantt charts and use CMMS software (training provided).
Preferred Qualification:
2-4 year technical degree or equivalent. 2-4 years' experience in an industrial setting.
