Lead Maintenance Technician Roskam Foods tuition reimbursement May 13, 2026
Position Description and Purpose:

Assist Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Manager with training, and mentoring maintenance technicians. Responsible for training employees on equipment, related to assigned area. Make daily shift reports to include BUM on daily maintenance issues during shift. Prioritize work based on Planner/Schedule, including projects. Follow escalation process to include a root cause and counter measures. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to schedules. Coordinate with leaders to prioritize repairs and maintenance activities. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve potential issues. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status. Diagnose mechanical, electrical and structural issues with machinery, tools, and building systems. Perform timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation. Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed. Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety inspections and address any potential hazards. Maintain knowledge of relevant safety codes. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, inspections, and repairs. Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
