Job Description

FlexCare Vehicle Protection is the official factorybacked vehicle service contract provider for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo in the United States and Puerto Rico. FlexCare products include vehicle repair coverage, prepaid maintenance, and other consumer protection products.

As the North America Regulatory & Compliance Manager, you will ensure that the U.S. FlexCare Vehicle Protection portfolio remains fully compliant with state regulations, bank and underwriting requirements, and applicable court decisions. This role is critical to maintaining regulatory integrity across a nationwide portfolio of regulated consumer protection products.

This position is well suited for regulatory professionals with experience in insurance, banking, financial services, extended warranties, or other regulated protection products (such as vehicle, home, appliance, or similar programs).You will manage the licensing and forms strategy for new and existing products in response to an evolving regulatory landscape. In addition, you will lead compliance related inquiries and responses, collaborate with product teams on regulatory driven changes, and partner with IT and data systems teams to ensure accurate, compliant delivery of consumer terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate annual licensing renewals and regulatory submissions with thirdparty legal firms to maintain authorization for the sale of service contracts across all U.S. states and Puerto RicoDevelop, review, and update service contract Terms & Conditions, partnering with thirdparty vendors to ensure consumer accessibility and regulatory accuracyEnsure ongoing compliance with thirdparty financing institutions, insurers, and underwriters supporting consumer loans and protection productsProactively assess and adjust licensing, insurance, and underwriting structures in response to evolving statelevel regulationsServe as the primary lead for regulatory complaint responses submitted to licensing agencies and public forumsCollaborate crossfunctionally with product, legal, IT, and operations teams to implement compliant product and system changes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higherMinimum 8 years of regulatory compliance experience within insurance, banking, financial services, extended warranties, consumer protection products, or other regulated consumer goodsActive Michigan Insurance producer's license or ability to obtain within six monthsExperience managing contracts, vendors, and external regulatory partnersStrong analytical skills with an inquisitive, solutionsoriented mindsetAbility to translate regulatory and business requirements to IT and system stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)FlexCare Vehicle Protection is the official factorybacked vehicle service contract provider for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo in the United States and Puerto Rico.
