52 weeks (full-time with benefits) Lead Maintenance Technician - Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the overall functionality of our facilities and equipment to provide the best possible environment for students. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs. Perform preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC, plumbing, & electrical systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed & materials used. Using technology for email,work order management and HVAC scheduling & controls Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects & ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred. Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or willingness to acquire within 90 days of employment. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
