Job Description
Fresh Solution Farms, LLC is a grower owned and operated producer, distributor and marketer of fresh, high quality fresh potatoes and onions located in White Pigeon, MI. Founded in 2007 by five generational potato and onion companies that span North America. We are looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to keep our facility running and eliminate down time. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and upkeep or repair operations. The candidate must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as fabricating, repairing and troubleshooting equipment. The goal is to ensure that facilities are always in a good and safe condition. Responsibilities Supervise and instruct maintenance staff Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance Monitor inventory of materials and equipment Participate in coordination of projects Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations Skills Team leader Communicate with upper management and team members Proven experience as maintenance technician or similar role Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.) An eye for detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations Planning and leadership abilities PLC Control knowledge a plus Bilingual a plus
