  • The Maintenance Manager at Cadon Plating and Coatings is responsible for leading and directing all maintenance activities within a manufacturing facility to ensure maximum equipment reliability, plant efficiency, safety compliance and production uptime.
This position requires extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance programs and management of maintenance personnel. The Maintenance Manager develops and implements maintenance strategies that support operational goals while ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.   • Effectively and efficiently supervise, maintain, and repair production equipment Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance programs.
Utilize CMMS systems to schedule, track and document maintenance activities Analyze equipment performance data and failure trends Reduce downtime through proactive maintenance planning Establish equipment reliability improvement initiatives Work closely with production leadership to maximize equipment downtime Respond to equipment failures and production emergencies Prioritize maintenance activities based on operational needs Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation Ensure compliance with
OSHA, MIOSHA
Lead lockout/tagout compliance efforts Complete all tasks required by management Report all mechanical or safety issues promptly to management Always operate equipment in a safe and legal manner Adhere to and promote safe work habits and follow all company policies, state and federal regulatory laws and procedures. Maintain and repair all company equipment as required Ensure equipment is operating safely and all guards are in place before returning equipment to production Lead and train employees in an effective manner to repair/replace equipment as needed Develop and adhere to the goals and objectives of the company Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in one or more of the following maintenance fields: welding, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or pipe fitting.
Ability to adapt their skills to the company's equipment Read and understand equipment and tech manuals The willingness to ask for and accept additional training and the continuous effort to expand knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and technical classes Physical requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical and chemical hazards, welding and grinding fumes and Hilo vehicles.
The noise level in the work area is usually moderate. All individuals within the production area are required to wear safety glasses at a minimum, and it is highly recommended that hearing protection also be worn. Gloves, dust masks, grinding shields and welding protection are provided upon request. For safety requirements, lockout/tagout and confined space training and equipment are also provided. Review these and any other required safety procedures to perform specific job assignments.
