$140,000 Maintenance Manager (Food & Dairy Manufacturing)-Monticello, WI Growing production facility now hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a food/dairy manufacturing environment, driving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building strong preventive maintenance systems and developing a skilled team. Main Responsibilities Lead maintenance operations to maximize uptime in a food production environment Implement and strengthen preventive & predictive maintenance programs Own CMMS (work orders, PM compliance, parts/inventory tracking) Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues on processing and packaging equipment Drive root cause analysis to improve reliability and OEE Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, and regulatory standards Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics Manage schedules, staffing, contractors, and maintenance budget Partner closely with production to support efficient, safe operations Qualifications 7+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing (dairy strongly preferred) Background as a maintenance mechanic or technician with hands-on troubleshooting experience Strong knowledge of processing/packaging equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Experience building and improving PM programs and maintenance systems CMMS experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience Work Environment Food manufacturing facility (cool/wet conditions, regulated sanitation environment) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on the production floor
