Job Description

A respected long-term care facility in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee all aspects of facility operations and ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and perform general maintenance, repairs, and inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety, and emergency systems compliance Manage preventative maintenance schedules and regulatory documentation Ensure compliance with state, federal, and OSHA regulations for healthcare facilities Coordinate vendor services and supervise external contractors Maintain an organized maintenance shop and inventory of supplies Supervise maintenance staff and respond to work orders in a timely manner Participate in Life Safety inspections, surveys, and facility audits
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in healthcare or senior living Knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and preventive maintenance practices Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and be on-call for emergencies High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred Why Join Us?
