Job Description

Cura of Monticello is currently looking for a full-time Maintenance Director to join our team. This leadership role entails managing the day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our healthcare facility. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing maintenance goals, coordinating repairs, managing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities Supervise and lead maintenance personnel as appropriate in all operational tasks. Manage maintenance schedules and prioritize repair requests effectively. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including safety and fire codes. Maintain and inspect all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Oversee preventative maintenance programs and timely completion of work orders. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities. Support infection control and safety initiatives related to the physical environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree preferred. Possession of a valid Boiler Operator License (2C) or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe. Valid driver's license. Demonstrated experience managing maintenance operations, ideally in healthcare or similar settings. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations. Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance challenges efficiently.
