SERVICE ADVISOR / SHOP OPERATIONS - WIZARDS AUTO REPAIR
Wizards Auto Repair is looking for a motivated and organized Service Advisor / Shop Operations Manager to help keep our shop running efficiently day-to-day. We are not a massive corporate dealership. We are a fast-growing family-owned shop looking for someone that can help manage customers, workflow, repair orders, and technician productivity while keeping communication strong throughout the repair process. This role is more than just answering phones or writing estimates. We are looking for someone who can help keep the entire shop moving. The ideal candidate should be capable of:
  • Writing repair orders and building estimates
  • Communicating clearly with customers throughout repairs
  • Selling needed repairs confidently while maintaining customer trust
  • Ordering and tracking parts
  • Coordinating workflow with technicians
  • Keeping technicians fed with work and preventing unnecessary downtime
  • Following up with customers and making sure jobs stay on schedule
  • Helping maintain organization, urgency, and efficiency throughout the shop
  • Going the extra step to make sure customers, technicians, and vehicles are all being properly managed Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day customer communication and repair order flow
  • Coordinate with technicians regarding diagnostics, approvals, and timelines
  • Ensure estimates and recommendations are communicated clearly and professionally
  • Help prioritize vehicles and maintain steady workflow throughout the day
  • Handle parts ordering and vendor communication
  • Assist with scheduling and customer follow-up
  • Help maintain customer satisfaction and strong shop organization
  • Support overall shop operations and productivity What We're Looking For
  • Automotive service advisor or dealership experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Automotive knowledge and understanding of repairs/services
  • Ability to sell repairs honestly and effectively
  • Organized, dependable, and motivated
  • Someone proactive that helps solve problems rather than waits for direction Bonus If You Have
  • Tekmetric or shop software experience
  • Parts ordering experience
  • Sales or customer retention experience
