The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally to provide guests with a comfortable and safe environment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, project management, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. Responsibilities Lead and manage the engineering department, ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other essential hotel facilities. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules. Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement. Manage projects related to facility upgrades or renovations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Supervise staff in performing routine maintenance tasks, including industrial maintenance and mechanical repairs. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schematics for electrical and mechanical systems. Train staff on safety protocols and proper use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical measurements. Experience Proven experience in facilities management within the hospitality industry or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Proficiency in managing programmable logic controllers (PLC) and understanding high voltage and low voltage systems. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on leadership and team development. Familiarity with project management principles related to facility upgrades or repairs. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
