Wizards Auto Repair is looking for a strong Lead Technician / Shop Foreman — not just a parts changer. This role is for someone who can still produce at a high level while also helping lead the shop, solve difficult problems, and keep workflow moving. We're looking for someone who can confidently handle diagnostics, engines, transmissions, timing chains, electrical issues, and drivability problems while also stepping into a leadership role when needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Diagnose complex electrical and drivability problems
• Handle CAN systems, no-starts, intermittent faults, and advanced diagnostics
• Perform major repairs including: Engine replacements & rebuilds Timing chains & internal engine work Transmission replacements Diesel diagnostics & repair
• Work on European and Domestic vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Chevy, etc.)
• Use scan tools, scopes, and wiring diagrams properly to diagnose problems
• Help guide technicians and keep production moving
• Maintain workflow and prevent vehicles from sitting unnecessarily
• Communicate clearly with the front desk regarding repairs and timelines
• Lead by example through work ethic, efficiency, and quality

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years experience in automotive repair
• Strong diagnostic ability — this is HUGE for us
• Strong engine, transmission, and electrical repair skills
• Experience with Euro and American vehicles
• Comfortable handling major repairs and difficult jobs
• Leadership mindset while still being productive in the shop
• Own tools required (specialty tools are a plus)
• Fast, efficient, and takes pride in quality work

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• Diesel experience
• Programming / module coding experience
• Fabrication or welding skills
• Experience with Tekmetric or similar shop software
