  • Jefferson City, MO Candlewood Suites of Jefferson City is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our team.
This role is essential in maintaining the overall upkeep and safety of our hotel property, ensuring a comfortable and well-functioning environment for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry. Maintain exterior grounds including basic landscaping duties. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff or guests. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies. Work independently and manage time efficiently to complete daily responsibilities. Provide support and coverage in emergency situations, including being on-call 24/7 , with availability for nights and weekends when needed.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of building maintenance systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.). Training will be provided. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds without assistance. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred. Previous maintenance or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required. Certifications are not required but are considered a plus.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, day shift , with on-call responsibilities.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
