Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and oversee the upkeep of our production facilities, equipment, and farm infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment. Duties Manage and supervise the maintenance department's daily activities. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and production equipment. Schedule and prioritize maintenance work to minimize production downtime. Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and equipment documentation. Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, and company safety standards. Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects. Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance technicians. Assist with facility improvements and capital projects. Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations as needed. Requirements 5+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or a similar industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance scheduling. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
