General Manager / Regional ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE
: The Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for conducting maintenance operations for a specified region to include repair and infrastructure operations within a marina environment. The Senior Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality and operational integrity at each marina and has a solid understanding of the maintenance skills needed to safely and efficiently complete maintenance operations and projects within the assigned geographic region. This role ensures the safety, functionality, and appearance of docks, piers, vessel support systems, buildings, and mechanical equipment. Success in this role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of marine systems to deliver reliable, high-quality maintenance services.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: 1. Develop maintenance procedures, record keeping, safety training, and ensure implementation at the region-wide level for continuity 2. Coordinate with General Managers to promote the highest level of customer and guest services and expedite all requests from customers and the General Managers 3. Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs for docks, pilings, seawalls, electrical systems, plumbing, and fuel systems 4. Oversee the inspection, repair, and upkeep of marina infrastructure, including slips, gangways, and mooring systems 5. Coordinate emergency repairs and respond to urgent maintenance issues, including weather-related damage 6. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; oversee procurement processes 7. Routinely operate motor and water vehicles and other various mechanized equipment and instruct Maintenance Managers on safe operation 8. Coordinate and plan expenses with General Managers and train Maintenance Managers on how to manage the budget 9. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers 10. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with by inspecting training logs and whip- aroundEducation and Experience :
1. Must have at least five (5)+ years of progressive experience as a Maintenance Manager in a marina setting 2. Must have a working knowledge of facility machines and equipment 3. Must be able to manage multiple marina maintenance departments and projects simultaneously and seamlessly in ambiguous situations 4. Must be able to pass a background check deemed acceptable by the company 5. Must hold a valid driver s license as this position is required to drive to various marina site locations as needed 6. Must have general accounting knowledge and basic understanding of financial statementsWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
: 1. Must be able to lift, carry, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds independently 2. Must be able to swim or willing to wear a personal flotation device, as this position is located at a marina 3. Must be available for travel and visit each marina within the region once a quarter at a minimum 4. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include extended hours, holidays, and weekends dependent on operational needs, to include support during emergency situationsSTATEMENT OF PURPOSE
