Job Description

•This position is available ONLY for current employees of the City of Springfield•The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible in overseeing the maintenance and improvements to Springfield's existing street infrastructure. The maintenance of our streets involves asphalt repair, concrete construction and repair, chip-seals, and a variety of other work. This position will supervise one specific team in the Public Works Street Operations Division. We are currently looking to hire a supervisor for our Utility Cuts crew. Experience, Education, and Training A minimum of four years of responsible experience in street maintenance or sewer operations, or equivalent, in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure; AND One year in a crew leader or supervisory capacity. Licensing/Certification Must possess a valid Driver's License. For more information on essential functions and other requirements, please see the job description .
