Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor#26-15311 $44.67-$46.35 per hour Wentzville, MO Onsite Job Description Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their Wentzville, MO location.

Responsibilities:

Work in a loud manufacturing environment that may not be climate controlled (conditions can be hot or cold) Read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections Promptly detect and respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals Wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and safety shoes

Requirements:

One year of direct team supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal per diem group leader Experience reading and understanding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict and decision making Experience managing, leading people, and addressing performance concerns Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems Basic computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Word, typing, email, etc.) What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, self-directed Experience collaborating across multiple functions within a manufacturing setting Experience supervising employees in a union environment Knowledge of timekeeping systems

Candidate Requirements:

Education - 2 Year Technical Degree or a 4 year Bachelor's Degree, Apprenticeship will all be accepted. Need to have more than a High School Diploma/GED. Examples of candidates that will be considered: If they have a 4-year bachelor's degree and 1 year experience in manufacturing people leading 2-year college degree and 2-3 years of experience manufacturing people leading Top 3
