Chief Engineer | Holiday Inn Express Gulfport Beach

We're looking for a hands-on, dependable, problem-solving Chief Engineer to join our Holiday Inn Express family. This is not just a maintenance position. What You'll Do:

Oversee the maintenance and daily operation of hotel systems and equipment Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the property Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues Ensure guest rooms and public areas remain safe, functional, and guest-ready Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests Help manage vendor relationships and maintenance scheduling Maintain compliance with safety standards and hotel procedures Support the hotel team wherever needed

What We're Looking For:

Previous hotel maintenance or engineering experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance Leadership mentality with a team-first attitude Reliable, organized, and self-motivated Calm under pressure and able to prioritize tasks effectively Positive attitude and professional communication skills Why Work With Us?
