Job Description

There is a regular full-time opening for a Maintenance Planner. This is a salary position responsible for coordinating the maintenance requirements for the mill equipment, continue to develop and improve reliability program and to minimize downtime and maximize production while meeting all safety, environmental, and quality limitations and specifications. Essential Job Responsibilities Work with management and operations team to plan daily, weekly and shutdown work. Source parts, tools, and build maintenance plans required for work orders. Update work order status and comments in a timely manner using the CMMS software - IMaint Work with Maintenance Manager on final prioritization of scheduled work orders. Schedule and fill open positions due to vacation, PTO, Call-ins, etc. Execute safe and efficiently planned maintenance activities. Maximize efficiency of maintenance spending by utilizing internal resources whenever possible. Ensure contractor work is planned properly and safely and is executed per company policies. Utilize equipment BOMs to ensure spare parts availability. Identify and solve process and equipment problems. Maintain technical equipment documentation (drawings, manuals, etc). Work with Buyer on spare parts inventory. Develop, monitor, and identify equipment which has excessive /repetitive maintenance costs and develop a plan to improve reliability of replace equipment. Responsible for part requisition process. Required to participate in "on-call" rotation. Qualifications 2 year Technical Degree is highly desired Mechanical, technical and process knowledge of operations. 3-5 years' experience in maintenance planning. Self-directed and organized. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Effective problem-solver. Be able to be flexible in a team environment. Strong people / leadership skills. Ability to receive and provide feedback. Demonstrate Microsoft office skills and proficiency with JDE and IMaint software.
