Job Description

We are seeking a highly autonomous, self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Manager to take full ownership of a diverse property portfolio. If you require hand-holding or micro-management, this is not the role for you. We need a true jack-of-all-trades who can diagnose a problem, execute a high-quality fix the first time, and handle vendor management when specialized licenses are required.
What You Will Do:
Quick Service Restaurants:
Handle rapid-response repairs for two fast-casual restaurants (faucets, lighting, minor kitchen equipment lines).
Residential Portfolio:
Manage the full turnover process for 35 rental units (drywall repair, painting, lock changes, appliance troubleshooting).
Commercial & Industrial:
Maintain a state-leased DMV building and a lumberyard according to strict compliance and safety standards.
Farm Infrastructure:
Oversee basic structural upkeep, fencing, and gates across a 25-acre property.
Emergency Response:
Serve as the primary contact for late-night property emergencies.
What You Must Bring:
5+ years of combined experience in commercial facility maintenance or advanced general contracting. Proven ability to work independently without supervision—you see a problem and you fix it. Basic proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC troubleshooting, and drywall/painting. Your own reliable, insured truck and a clean driving record Excellent communication skills to interface directly with residential tenants, government employees, and restaurant managers.
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
