Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is integral to ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient functioning of all equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance activities, and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to optimize operational performance. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across all plant areas, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational protocols. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to minimize downtime. Oversee the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, and industrial machinery. Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, including resource allocation, scheduling, and compliance with safety regulations. Train and mentor maintenance technicians on equipment operation, safety procedures, and technical skills such as reading schematics or working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history to support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance tasks that support manufacturing efficiency. Ensure compliance with industry standards related to electrical safety (including high voltage) and mechanical integrity. Lead efforts in facilities management by overseeing building systems such as HVAC and other infrastructure components. Skills Proven management experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with a focus on facilities management. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience, including working with low voltage and high voltage systems. Proficiency in using schematics, Ohmmeters, and troubleshooting tools for diagnostics. Experience working with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance planning. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting. Ability to interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams effectively. Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage projects efficiently. Familiarity with industrial maintenance best practices related to HVAC systems and manufacturing equipment. Strong communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting. Understanding of safety regulations concerning high voltage systems and general facilities safety standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
