PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Maintenance Supervisor demonstrates teamwork and commitment to the success of Owens Corning. The Maintenance Supervisor is a recognized leader that demonstrates Owens Corning's values and a commitment to high performance. This person will lead maintenance execution to ensure safe, effective, efficient, continuous plant operation through proactive maintenance and reliability of the facility and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor supports design and process changes, installations, troubleshooting, completing repairs and providing data to improve maintenance. Direct reports include approximately 4 primary electromechanics
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive a zero environmental, health, and safety incident culture, support and participate in incident investigations to determine root cause, identify preventive actions, and correct unsafe conditions and acts immediately.
Communicate effectively with all environmental, health, and safety, accounting, people, quality, process, and equipment issues.
Lead Electromechanics by developing personal and working relationships, listening to new ideas and suggestions, promoting participation in decisions and activities.
Lead the PM pillar of TPM to include tracking downtime, PM completion percentage, and assisting the other pillars.
Conduct routine audits of EHS adherence, completeness, work order accuracy, time allotment, housekeeping, etc.
Develop, schedule, and provide training for the Electromechanics to ensure specialty knowledge is transferable and adheres to regulatory requirements.
Establish annual performance objectives and reviews for direct reports.
Utilize a maintenance escalation chain to minimize response times.
Enter time in the payroll system as required, and manage overtime, and vacations.
Assist in staffing maintenance personnel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2-year technical degree; 4-year degree or experience equivalent preferred (EE or ME)
CMRP certified preferred
5+ years industrial maintenance experience
Industrial utility and facility system knowledge
EXPERIENCE
People leadership
CNC manufacturing experience is preferred
Familiarity with TPM is preferred
Contractor management to perform project and maintenance activities
Work and personnel scheduling and planning
Strong electrical, PLC and controls preferred
Very high mechanical aptitude
Working in a CMMS environment

Maintenance knowledge, skills, and abilities in electrical and mechanical disciplines
Maintenance planning and scheduling knowledge to execute planned work and record unplanned work
Maintenance spare part knowledge to establish stocking levels and sourcing strategies
Maintenance metrics knowledge to monitor, optimize and drive continuous improvement
Predictive maintenance technologies knowledge and applications
Highly developed human relation skills to lead, direct, motivate and develop personnel
Effective communication skills to work with all levels of the plant organization, contractors, and vendors
Proficient computer skills to store, retrieve and analyze data in OC, Microsoft Office, other applications
Continuous improvement skills that achieve sustaining successes
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with large industrial equipment
Quick decision-making ability to overcome upset situations
