Maintenance Area Manager

Key responsibilities:

Manage hourly skilled associates Manage day-to-day operations which includes breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and various projects Provide maintenance knowledge and specialized experience to diagnose and develop solutions to equipment breakdowns in order to reduce on-call demand on limited Engineer assets Assist with obtaining necessary parts Manage labor and maintenance costs to ensure budgetary guidelines and goals are achieved Required skills, knowledge: Ability to work a 12-hour shift, continuous operation Experience managing multiple projects at once Ability to meet maintenance and cost goals Ability to hold associates/team members accountable Experience, education: One to three (1-3) years of experience in maintenance / production manufacturing process and equipment Prior work with training / organizational development or in another function desired Knowledge of Production / Maintenance team structure, operations, and requirements Knowledge of basic HR / training functions Familiarization with budget development / management Demonstrated excellence in establishing / maintaining communications and interpersonal relationships Benefits, pay, schedule: Open availability as the plant is open twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, required Will train on days from 7 AM - 3 PM, Monday through Friday, for the first few weeks 12-hour shifts once training is complete, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM On a 2-2-3 schedule $32 to $34 / hour starting pay range Weekly pay Eligible for pay increases dependent on job performance, attendance, etc.
