Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Overtime is available No rotating shifts Paid holidays (no waiting period)Benefits:

Fayetteville, NC Primary work environment is an indoor service and maintenance shop, with occasional field or outdoor work as needed. Specialty work on fire trucks and ambulancesKey Job Duties:
Assisting the Service Center Manager with planning, scheduling, performing, directing, and evaluating the maintenance and repair of fire and emergency apparatuses. Analyze malfunctions and repairs, rebuilds and maintains fire and emergency equipment. Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose discrepancies. Dismantle, repair, reassemble vehicles or equipment utilizing hand tools and hoists. Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using precision measuring equipment. Repair, rebuild, overhaul, replace defective assemblies and components such as collector gear boxes, transfer cases, differentials, and both water or hydraulic pumps. Test overhauled equipment to insure operating efficiency. Weld broken parts and structural members. Requirements What we're looking for: Diesel mechanic experience, preferably with heavy duty or emergency vehicles Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to pass pre-employment screening Who does well here: Team players who also work well independently People who like variety and solving problems Work environment and physical demands This role includes standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing.
