This includes ensuring the physical condition of the property is maintained to the highest standards, coordinating repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance. The Maintenance Director will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and staff.

Duties:

Manage and supervise all aspects of maintenance operations including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Utilize maintenance management skills to schedule and prioritize tasks effectively. Troubleshoot and repair high voltage equipment, logic controllers, and other technical systems. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose and address maintenance issues promptly. Fabricate parts as needed to maintain equipment and facilities. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times. Collaborate with the team to coordinate maintenance activities efficiently.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in maintenance management or a related field. Proficiency in electrical systems, logic controllers, ohmmeter usage, and mechanical knowledge. Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements. Ability to fabricate parts when necessary for repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Certification or training in relevant technical areas is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, with occasional on-call responsibilities for emergencies. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Requires standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders. Exposure to various weather conditions when performing outdoor maintenance tasks.
