Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facilities management and industrial maintenance operations. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and facility knowledge, along with proven management and supervisory capabilities. As Maintenance Director, you will oversee maintenance strategies, coordinate projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to support operational excellence across our facilities. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime and efficiency. Lead a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work quality. Manage the maintenance department's budget, resources, and scheduling to align with operational priorities. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and asset performance data. Supervise the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems including high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) circuits using schematics and technical manuals. Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and industrial machinery ensuring compliance with safety standards. Coordinate projects involving upgrades or new installations by managing timelines, vendors, and technical specifications. Conduct inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to electrical work, high voltage systems, and industrial maintenance practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and safety departments to optimize facility operations. Skills Strong management skills with experience supervising maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and electrical troubleshooting. Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance planning and asset management. Solid understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical components, and facilities management principles. Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance projects including installation, repair, and upgrades. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Proven leadership abilities with a focus on safety compliance and continuous process improvement. Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise including working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems. Familiarity with project management methodologies for executing large-scale maintenance initiatives. Ability to interpret technical diagrams such as schematics effectively. Experience working with manufacturing equipment requiring troubleshooting via tools like ohmmeters.
