Millwork Install and Service Manager

Founded in 2003, Professional Builders Supply today operates locations in the Carolinas, selling, installing and distributing residential and commercial building materials such as lumber, siding, trim, doors, windows, decking and railing. The company also operates a truss manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina and provides turn-key installation services for multifamily applications through its PBS Commercial brand and for residential roofing and siding via SouthEnd Exteriors. . A Brief Overview A Millwork Install and Service Manager will manage the work of a team of Millwork Install and Service technicians, leads and supervisors. This position is responsible for overseeing the installation and service process in an efficient manner. What you will do Plan, schedule and oversee all phases of siding installation and service projects. Manage install and service crews, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivitystandards Ensure installation practices comply with manufacturer guidelines and warranty requirements. Track time and materials as required for each installation project. Ensure that all equipment is operated in a safe and responsible manner Address and resolve customer concerns promptly Attend all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management. Cross-train in other areas to expand knowledge and expertise. Monitor and guide work processes to ensure quality results with minimal errors or damage Responsible for managing a team of 10+ associates (direct and indirect), including hiringand termination decisions, setting goals, communicating expectations, providingperformance feedback, and overseeing budget accountability. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Qualifications 5+ years of millwork installation/service experience required. Skills and Abilities Read and use a measuring tape and other required tools for complete installation. Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills and the ability to provide and/or follow detailed instructions. Excellent teamwork & customer relationships Demonstration of leadership (all required): Mentor new associates Willingness to train others Safety committee engagement Participation in US1 Continuous Improvement Projects .
