Position Responsibilities:
Plan maintenance while ensuring compliance with regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, USDA). Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, prioritize work orders, and ensure materials/tools are available. Review and update completed work orders and machinery history in the CMMS system. Generate reports on work progress, schedules, and personnel vacation. Produce weekly maintenance schedules and forecast workforce needs. Manage MRO inventory, including stocking, parts disbursements, returns, and audits. Train maintenance personnel on reporting procedures and using CMMS software. Assist in contractor qualifications and performance management. Train department personnel in PSM program elements. Assist with annual program goals, provide reports, and ensure documentation is available for audits. Maintain compliance documentation for PSM and other regulatory requirements. Provide leadership and guidance to employees in the Maintenance Department. Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Working knowledge of basic computer skills, Internet and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel. Strong problem-solving skills. Food Manufacturing background. Ammonia refrigeration background a plus. Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Experience in the supervision of day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance, strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Project management software experience is preferred. Knowledge of the CMMS system, preferred.
