The ideal candidate will have knowledge of grounds and maintenance functions. Typical duties include, but not limited to the following: Self-motivated and can work independently and the ability to prioritize projects. Must be able to analyze and solve issues regarding equipment, machines, and grounds. Must be able to communicate solutions to issues you may find to direct supervisor. Have a valid driver's license and willing to drive to different locations throughout the workday. Mowing district grounds. Snow removal throughout the district. Basic electrical knowledge. Repairing outdoor sprinkler systems. Ability to use common maintenance and construction tools. Ability to assist with smaller construction and cabinet work projects. Welding experience. Basic Mechanical knowledge and use of tools. Basic Carpentry Skills. Perform other duties as assigned. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned. This position is subject to a verterans preference. Typical duty hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
