Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and energetic Part-time Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, systems, and infrastructure, maintaining a safe and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and experience managing maintenance teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and support facility management initiatives on a part-time basis. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems. Oversee routine inspections, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Manage maintenance records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and service history. Lead troubleshooting efforts involving schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues effectively. Collaborate with facilities management to plan and execute projects related to equipment upgrades or system improvements. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including high voltage and low voltage electrical protocols, as well as industrial safety regulations. Supervise maintenance staff or contractors, providing guidance on technical tasks such as working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Skills Strong management and leadership abilities with prior supervising experience in industrial or manufacturing settings. Extensive mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience in high voltage and low voltage systems. Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems. Experience utilizing CMMS software for maintenance management and scheduling. Knowledge of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and safety procedures related to industrial environments. Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting. Project management skills to oversee maintenance projects from planning through execution using structured methodologies.
