Job Description

Experience:
Manager Job Details - We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our thriving food manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in maintenance management, who is passionate about driving efficiency and leading a team to success. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. An excellent Maintenance Manager must be reliable and have a great eye for detail, with a solid understanding of budgeting, team leadership, CMMS, RCFA, TQM, TLC, PdM, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation. 2. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues. 3. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. 4. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. 5. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. 6. Keep a maintenance budget and ensure cost-effectiveness. 7. Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff. 8. Monitor equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they become problems. 9. Develop a Total Quality Management (TQM) system to improve the company's efficiency. 10. Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track all maintenance work. 11. Implement a Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify the underlying cause of a problem. 12. Develop a Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program to anticipate and fix potential issues before they become problems. 13. Utilize Team Leadership Concepts (TLC) to motivate and guide the maintenance team. 14. Ensure that all maintenance operations comply with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or other managerial role. 2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Strong understanding of budgeting and performance management. 4. Excellent knowledge of the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM). 5. Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). 6. Experience in conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA). 7. Excellent team leadership skills. 8. Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail. 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 10. High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage. 11. Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus.
