Job Description

We are looking for a Multi-Site Maintenace Manager to join our team. The person will be mainly located in Rochester, NH but will also be involved at the Laconia, NH site. This role will be a working manager and requires an electrical background, 7-10 years in manufacturing and mainteance supervision of 3-5 years. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the TRG manufacturing locations in Laconia and Rochester. This role will schedule, assist and/or facilitate electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, equipment, the facility and tooling maintenance and repair. Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical and hydraulic machine issues and performs root cause analysis in partnership with operations to solve problems and make improvements. The Maintenance Manger will organize the management team at the TRG locations in Laconia and Rochester to actively support cross functional safety and workplace improvement projects.
Essential/Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Following all health and safety requirements, safety policy and company policy. Report any observed violation to the superior or hazardous situation to the Safety Committee Fostering and encouraging safe practices on the shop floor Support the safety committee for improvement projects and coordinate waste material handling. Monitor and prioritize the work of the team to ensure planned maintenance and repair activities in Laconia and Rochester are completed according to the schedule Generate quotes and communicate third party services after expense approval Perform assigned duties with a high degree of proficiency and mindfulness of personal safety and those around you. Manage fulfillment of performed preventive maintenance to include cleaning, following a provided preventative maintenance schedule. Respond to site requests for troubleshooting and make effective repairs to keep process down times to a minimum. Responsible for completion of Work Orders assigned to the Maintenance department by given priorities. Assist machine operators to ensure they have what they need to succeed. Suggest and actively participate in cross training as needed, learning new skills required due to technological advances. Operate a variety of specialized equipment including various hand and power tools. Support required tool modification and repairs in Rochester. Ensure proper training on special equipment has been completed prior to use. Document completed work accurately and reliably within the maintenance system with required input of material costs, inventory use, labor time and assigned work center. Active participation in fixture and workstation improvement projects. Keep work equipment clean, organized and in order. Report any issues to superior. Enforcing policies and procedures Perform evaluations on personnel Maintain positive morale and overall attitude of the team, developing and maintaining a team atmosphere Provide support to your team to insure they meet the stated objectives Organize training opportunities for team Other duties assigned by management

Thoughtful, fair, and even-handed temperament Excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic Team oriented Great communication abilities Good mechanical abilities Ability to follow-through on daily/weekly tasks and assignments without supervision Ability to handle difficult personalities Production and Processing Critical thinking skills Complex problem-solving skills Judgement and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail is a must Must possess solid organizational skills Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical and low voltage control circuits Knowledge of heavy hydraulic repairs, mechanical repairs, machine trouble shooting PLC experience and knowledge of ladder logic is a plus Working knowledge of welding, metal fabrication and machining is a plus Ability to read, understand and follow written work instructions, safety guidance and policy Ability to perform basic mathematical computation (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation Ability to communicate issues clearly Physically fit to fulfill all physically demanding requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School or equivalent 3 years of operating, setup or maintenance experience with Manufacturing Machinery Schooling in mechanical or electrical trades is preferred Forklift certified preferred Please email tthibault@rubber-group.com with resume and/or any questions
