Email resume or apply directly to Windham Terrace Assisted Living, 3 Church Road, Windham, NH Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within our Assisted Living facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of operations through effective management of maintenance teams and systems. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing equipment performance as well as overseeing the housekeeping department. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the maintenance and housekeeping team to ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Manage facilities maintenance including HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Implement maintenance management strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage, electrical work, and industrial maintenance standards. Coordinate projects related to facility upgrades or repairs with internal teams or external contractors. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety audits. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance department through leadership and training initiatives. Experience Proven supervisory experience in an assisted living environment with a strong background in facilities management. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and inventory control. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting.
