Role:
As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facility's physical structure and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting and reporting on the condition of equipment and facilities, and coordinating with contractors and vendors. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to fire safety, life safety, and accessibility.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements Inspect and report on the condition of equipment and facilities, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance and repair projects Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to fire safety, life safety, and accessibility Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of the facility Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff
Requirements:
2 years of experience as a Maintenance Director or in a related role Strong understanding of maintenance and repair principles and practices Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical demands of the job require the ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and materials
