Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Multi-Family Housing Property Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and overall performance of our residential properties. This is a field-based leadership role ideal for someone who is experienced in the trades and enjoys working alongside their team while managing projects and property operations. This position requires a strong background in plumbing, electrical, and general construction, along with the ability to lead maintenance staff, manage renovations, and ensure all buildings are operating at peak performance. Oversee daily operations of superintendents and maintenance staff Ensure all building systems (plumbing, electrical, structural) are functioning properly Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs as needed Conduct routine inspections to proactively address issues Manage apartment turnovers ("make-readies") and renovation projects Coordinate materials, schedules, and vendors for project completion Maintain organization across properties, work orders, and ongoing projects Communicate regularly with the home office regarding property needs and updates
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle Must have own tools Ability to travel between properties as needed Physically capable of performing maintenance tasks 5+ years of hands-on experience in property maintenance or construction Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs Masonry experience is a plus Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
